Principal's Message

Hello Mable Barron Families!

My name is Dr. Leonard Jones, and I couldn't be more excited to introduce myself as the principal of Mable Barron for the 2026-2027 school year. I join this community with a great deal of excitement, humility and gratitude. It is a privilege to be part of a school with such a rich history, and I hope and intend to earn your trust as we take this journey together.

As your principal, I aim to meet every student in our school community, learn from our dedicated staff, hear from families, and discover all that makes Mable Barron such a special place. I believe relationships are the foundation of every great school, and I love being part of a community. Together, we can create the kind of environment where every child feels seen, valued, and inspired to learn.

This school year, my hope is simple: that we grow together. We will celebrate successes together, learn through challenges together, and continue building a school where every child can thrive, and every family knows they belong!
